I think it is possible that two people can find love through it. But I also think that it is alot harder to do it this way. I have always believed that a face can paint a thousand words, i.e. talking to someone face to face. Whereas via the internet it isn't possible to do this. Sure you might have a photograph of the person that you are communicating with, but that is only a static image. You can't see them smile or run or talk or being sad and lonely.
Also with internet dating it is easy to put your own thoughts and emotions into a sentence that you have just read that maybe wasn't the intension of the sender! Maybe it was just a throw a way remark by them that meant alot more to you!
Also I think that it might be possible to talk too much through the net and then if you do meet up in 'real life' you find that you have nothing to say to each other because you have already said it all, eek.
And of course all of this could take alot of time. Much more than would be the case through meeting someone in the conventional way. Also the person that you are corresponding with could 'block' you from sending anymore messages to them without giving you any notice.
And then there is the cost involved in it too. I think alot of the internet dating sites charge for the 'privelege' of meeting someone so if you don't meet someone through it then it could be looked upon as being a waste of money.

Thanks for the explanation for the crop night thing. It's always good to have a hobby.
Take care.
