yet again i forget something

haha....so tonight i TOTALLY forgot about my night class!!!! I mean last time I forgot it was before class......as you're guessing today I didn't! Class starts at 6, I went to the movies at 5:10 and left at 7:00 and all of a sudden it hit me.....I was suppose to be at school at 6! so yeah, since I hadnt been last week I needed to get there or I would get dropped from the role! SOOO apparently last week the teach announced a quiz for tonight and look people, you know if i couldnt remember class i sure as hell hadnt read anything and on top of that didnt know about the quiz!!!!!!!!

But alas, i triumph because I GOT THE HIGHEST GRADE IN THE CLASS......an 84! and those other people read the shit and had study guides..... =-)

so i am learning that this is becoming more of a weekly thing than a daily thing as it has been in the past! used to have time to do this all the time, now i have so much stuff to talk about it that i dont want to take the time to type it all and so whatever

still so much more studying and study guides to do....then i have all that other bs to do :( not good......no free time this weekend....went to church this morning....it was dress as you work day so i got to wear jeans =-D noticed a cute guy, lol only to realize he was a newlywed....thought that was rather funny....i knew she had gotten married, just didnt know how lucky she was, lol.....ssooooooo.......

studying & sleep........thats all im doing this weekend and that SUCKS!!!

stress stress stress......S>>>T>>>R>>>E>>>S>>>S!!! :-( so much to do and so lil time to do it all.....totally sucks! I don't think i'll ever get used to the tight schedule school has put me on. Like this weekend for example I have to read 6 chapters and do study guides for each of them and the study guides for each chapter are like 4 pages long each......then i have to write 10 pages about every aspect of two totally different diseases, and do a patient care plan!!!! Then on top of everything we started a new class this friday, pharmacology =-( so there's even more work to do......

no time for people, no time for fun, no time for anything hardly....even sleep =-(

not much to say

been studying a lot...i hope i've been spelling that right...it defies an english rule if so, by adding the ing i should be taking off a y but then that would be studing.....nevermind....

not too much to say today.....didnt do too much....just went to school, came home and studied....then went back to school to my night class, which i almost totally forgot about :-\ hmm....that would not have been good :) anyways

got my test grade today, and well folks it looks like i wasted a perfectly good weekend studying....i got a....dare i say....C....not real happy bout that.....not at all....so guess i need to get back to studying so i can make an a on my test on thurs....lol....good luck with that one right?!!

so after a weekend of studying i had my test today and i really think i did good.....didnt have any major probs :) yayayayayayay cant wait to find out what i made :-0 see y'all it pays off to waste your weekend after all!!!!

went to town for a while.....now i'm back at home studying for thursday's test :-p gotta ace that one too =-)

bbq dreams

had bbq from kens grill today...that has to be the best thing about being from eastern nc....the AWESOME BARBEQUE!!!! you gotta love it, if not you aint a true southerner....

sucks to have to spend your whole weekend studying which is what i have to do this go around....although i did spend yesterday shopping lol.....shoulda studied then...got a bunch of back to school clothes and ate at olive garden in greenville....totally awesome too....not as good as the barbeque though...lol

gotta go read about the fundamentals of nursing.....gotta get an a on the first test, its usually the easiest....lol

a time of welcomed boredom

empty fridays wont last for long....they moved my fri class up from 9/23 to next fri...man...that sucks...

so anyways off to greenville to OLD NAVY yay! we finally got one within less than an hour of here!!!

a day of old friends renewed

i saw my friend Chelsea todayafter not seeing her for almost a year!! that was really sucky part of our schedules...i started workin days and goin to school til 9 and she started working third shift at a local plant. since our last encounter she has gotten married and is expecting twin boys in december. Things change so quickly, this time last year her and her husband decided to take a break for a few months....and look at em now! geez i just cant believe she's gonna be a mama....i'm so excited for her. i can see the excitement in her eyes when she talks about how things are.

i just wish that something would change in my life....i mean i know i've started nursing school...but everything else is the same, and school is pretty much the same as it was b4 except more concentrated........

not that i could even begin to be ready to have kids or a husband ( lol i know im engaged, but i mean while i'm in school...we're not getting married til i graduate) i guess i really just wanna move and live on my own....SSSSSOOO BBAADDD i am a firm believer that everyone should take a lil bit of time to live on their own, i do not want to move from my parents house to my and my husbands house....i want that lil bit of independent living!

i'm so glad i got to see her today though i have really missed hanging out with her.

oh yeah and today in school i learned how to use my sphygomamonmeter....how ever you spell it! lol......had that stupid quiz, made a c!!!! sucks....i hate it when i do what i did, which is get so nervous and try to read to much into the question and not really focus on the keyword that is the clue!! i only missed 5.......out of 25.......lol.....i get so mad at myself sometimes; over stupid stuff such as a grade.......lol it doesnt count....so why worry?!?!?!?!!!

sphygmomanometer day

does anyone out there know what a sphygmomanometer is? lol...i know what it is...just dont know how to say it....its the thing they use to measure blood pressure....got me one today...well i had one but i exchanged it for a better one....one with dragonflies....:-)

so anyways had my first quiz today in nursing & did good....have another one tomorrow....uugghhh....going to go study....missed the spare change concert at school today because i have to study!!!! oh the agony.....

I HATE HOMEWORK!!!

homework sucks and i have way to much of it!! and to top that in my nursing classes they give you a course outline and you have to learn how to figure it out or you dont know what your homework is and even if you do figure it out then you have NO idea when its due and you just have to get it done relatively soon and with so much homework in so many classes you have to figure out which you think is more important to finish....THIS SUCKS!!!!!!

ok so that was today's rant.......doesnt that sound ridicously stupid? ok now i have to stop complaining and actually go do my homework!

Creative Memories Crop Night

Ok so tonight was my first Creative Memories Crop Night at Ruth Anderson's house. It was awesome. With nursing school starting this week it was nice to feel like I had a break and could just go somewhere and focus on one thing other than school or homework lol.....So I got a lot of work done and I am looking forward to delving into this hobby even further....oh my don't know that I can afford it seeing as how i'm not working now....jk...where there's a will, there's a way (or a mastercard at least LOL)

also today the losers who went to atlanta without me returned from their below average sucky boring trip (can you tell i'm a sore loser) so I got to see Jason for a few hours between school and the crop night and now i'm off on a wonderful weekend trip at the beach!! YAY!! Of course lately the internet has been my addiction and i dont think i'm gonna be able to find service down there with the laptop....although ya never know bc there could be a wireless cafe around!

hope everyone has a nice weekend everyone!! I know i will....hahahaha poor jason has to work three 12 hour shifts the next three days.......HAHAHAHA makes me feel better about not being able to go to atlanta!

first day of school

ok so today was my first day of classes and it kinda sucked....i thought it started at 8 like it said on the schedule ended up not starting til 8:30 so that sucked...thats thirty minutes of quality sleep time down the drain.....then i carried all my heavyyyy books to class only to find out that i only need one for class the rest are reference and study books......then we didnt do anything but review what we learned on orientation day....so i blew off a trip to atlanta which i had already paid for to learn what i already knew......SUCKS.....hope those losers have fun in atlanta....jk no regrets right??? WRONG! lol jk

but at least we got out at 11:20 instead of 2:50 like the schedule said!

Got it all done today and got back home at 3 when yesterday at 3 hadnt even left the house yet....lol

bought my books today - over $1,000.00!!!! omg! there's 20 of them, how do they expect us to carry all those around?? geesh!

anyways met ma for lunch at ham's awsome did errands, went to dollar tree (spent $38) then went and surprised grandma with some ice cream :) made my day complete.

now im back home and enjoying my last day b4 becoming a hard workin nursin student lol....

now i'm straightening up and watching drew carey...is this show even made anymore? it was on for a ridiculously surprising lllooonngg time.

so today's rant would have to be what is up with people who log onto AIM just to put up an away message? whats the point of even signing on just to put up and away message and be idle for the next 19 hours???? ridiculous...you know who you are.

a day of undone to do's

ok so today i had a list of 3 things to do:
1.take a shower (done)
2.go to school and buy books (attempted)
3.go talk to my bf's aunt about a job (attempted)

so i went to school and i went to talk to jason's aunt buuuttt....the bookstore had closed early, a mere 20 mins before I got there. Jason's aunt wasn't there either, apparently she leaves when lunch is over (around 2). SO what is up with a bookstore still operating on summer hours???? DURING FALL SEMESTER!!! so I will have to have the same to do list tomorrow :) and maybe i will get a earlier start, i would have gotten there on time had my scrapbook party stuff not just magically shown up on my back steps and i hadnta had to go through it! :) lol but its all good, here's to tomorrow :-p

oh yeah and if youve actually been reading this blog ya gotta luv the way i spell certain made up words, like hadnta - hadn't of......lol didja? did you? what's your take on words like this? do they make a person sound original or ignorant?

weekend recap and celebreality

hey y'all, its over......my birthday is over :-p. lol yeah. well sorry it's been a while, i've been busy. Friday was my birthday and i spent the whole entire day doing nothing!! had some cake spent the day with family and friends. :) got a lotta cool stuff: jason gave me a pink sapphire and diamond earring, necklace, and ring set and a nine west pocketbook. Ma got me a diamond inital necklace (HHHOOOTT!!!) and my dad gave me some money and a dozen pink roses, my sis got me some scrapbook stuff.....

Last night was the Kenny Chesney and Gretchen Wilson concert in Raliegh. Jason and I went with Lisa and Kenny (jones.....lol i wish chesney) it was awesome although hot as h-e-double hockey sticks....

Anyone else other than me addicted to Vh1's celebreality??? i am so in love with those 3 shows! but i gotta ask what in the world is wrong with janice dickinson???? is she outta her mind??? she is like 50 and still thinks she is a twenty something supermodel.....ok anyways...

hogan knows best would have to be my fave hands down!!!!!!!! i cant put my finger on why, but i just cant stop watching it. I've always been fascinated with celeb shows :) the hogans rock!! that show kinda makes me jealous cause brooke's room is so friggin awesome!!! plus to boot she is very beautiful and talented.....:( guess i'l just have to settle for being beautiful....lol...jk :)

Well anyways, today was a borer. Got up at noon, watched Full House, my show of the moment, and continued watchin tv until about 4pm when I finally got up and showered. Went to town, closed my savings acct, picked up a ring I had sized (early birthday present from Jason), paid my cell phone bill, and turned in a way overdue library book.

Now, I'm waiting for Jason to call when he gets off work and see if he wants to go get something for dinner. See....told you my day was a borer.

guess who's back, back again

Ok so i made a post for three days in a row at the end of November and haven't done anything with it since. This started out as a technology project for school and then i switched to another project. So seeming as how i totally forgot about it for 8 1/2 months, now i am back. Not that anyone reads this. But i enjoy doing it, it's kinda like an online journal. Since the last entry I got my nose pierced, quit my job, got into nursing school (start next week), and got ENGAGED.

If you read the previous entries Vegas was a blast. We stayed at the Golden Nugget on Freemont Street. This is a great place to stay because it's busy and there's lots to do, without the hustle and bustle and crowds of the strip. Our hotel was extremely close to a outlet mall with a shuttle leaving every 15 minutes. Also went to the Bellagio and saw Monet's exhibit, that blew me away to have such important art history right there in front of me!!!! We also rode the gondolas at the Venetian, which was romantic. All in all it was a great trip but unless you have lots of money don't really go with the intention of shopping, I was unaware that the "Killer Shopping" meant Manolho Blanik, Versace, Dolce & Gabanna......not really within my budget :)

Also today is Wednesday and my 20th birthday is FRIDAY!!!! YIPPEE!!!! I'm so excited!! :-)

Love this thing now......maybe it won't be 8 1/2 months before another post :-D
